Charles Edgar Samuel Montagu, 5th Baron Swaythling (born 20 February 1954) is the fifth Baron Swaythling. He is the middle child but only son of David Montagu, 4th Baron Swaythling and Christiane Françoise Dreyfus. His two sisters are Fiona Yvonne Montagu and Nicole Mary Montagu.[1]
Educated at Milton Abbey, Charles married Hon Angela Rawlinson (daughter of Peter Rawlinson, Baron Rawlinson of Ewell) on 24th February 1996, becoming her second husband.[2]
He succeeded his father to the title of Baron Swaythling on 1st July 1998 and was recorded as The Rt Hon The Lord Swaythling on 3rd February 2004 at the House of Lords.[2]
